In the midst of protests and destruction around the U.S., a moving scene unfolded in New York when some of the city's police officers knelt with protesters.
A protester shot a video of the officers taking a knee during a march in Queens on Sunday calling for justice for George Floyd, who died while being arrested in Minneapolis. Videos of police officers in other cities, including Des Moines and Portland, kneeling with protesters have also been uploaded.
As they knelt, one protester reeled off the names of other black people who had died, including Trayvon Martin and Ahmaud Arbery..

The United Nations has written to the Swiss government over the country’s proposed anti-terrorism legislation, saying it opened the door to the deprivation of liberty.
Last year, the Swiss government proposed new legislation aimed at preventing extremist violence and forcing people deemed a threat to be registered with the authorities. House arrest, a last resort in some cases, could also be applied to suspects. The Senate has already approved the draft, whereas the House of Representatives will consider the law in mid June.

The Malaysian government has gently reminded citizens that 50% of Malaysians are currently obese, according to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2019.
The survey showed that the country has the second highest obesity rate among children in the ASEAN region, with 7.1% of children under the age of 5 being overweight.
As the statistics have yet to cover the year of 2020, many have expressed their fear that the number could be worse next year, especially with the lack of physical activity among the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
